if you put it dangerous defect in that way lets say the brakes totally worn out ect. not like turn signal is out. What i would do is put vehicle on deadline which is no one drives the vehicle until the issue is fixed. Then you can look over the damage or situation where you figure out how the problem will be fixed and how it will effect people that are in need of the vehicle and how urgent the fix is where is can be time taking a few days work on your own pace or urgent where you fix it asap.
Whenever it shows signs of defect, damage, or leakage. It might last for the life of the vehicle, or it might not.
