Stardust definitely. Not only is its effect better, but it is also used for the synchro summon of majestic star dragon. red dragon archfied is good if you're facing stardust because the only way it can be destroyed is by battle

∙ 15y agoThere are innumerable such monsters. In terms of raw power, few cards trump Red Dragon Archfiend, though Stardust Dragon is beaten by many cards. In destructive force and overall usefulness, Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon, Chaos Sorceror, and Gladiator Beast Gyzarus all defeat both cards, to name a few. Note, however, that Stardust Dragon is far superior to Red Dragon Archfiend.plus it dependes on what typ it is like stardust dragon delta which has 3000 attk as regular stardust has 2500

∙ 13y agoThe answer to this question is a matter of personal preference. Stardust Dragon is mainly used as protection from your opponent's card effects. Red Dragon Archfiend is the opposite, destroying and clearing your opponent's Monster Card Zone instead.
