Who is carol from the twilight series?

Carol was the first Rosalie. On Stephenie Meyer's website she told us that in the editing process the character of Rosalie or "Carol" wasn't always like how she is. The editors changed her from sweet Carol to vain Rosalie. It may be hard to imagine Twilight without the mean, vain Rosalie and her comments, but Stephenie Meyer did. She had the character of Carol until the editors changed her into Rosalie, so in the Twilight Outtakes on Stephenie's website it may still say Carol. But Carol is only Rosalie.
