She helped raise Alcyoneus, the bane of Pluto. But not because she wanted to. Gaia the earth goddess had posssed hazel's mum. if she(hazel) din't do it, hazel's mum would be killed. so yeah hazel died delaying Gaia's awakening. She died a hero. but came back so that she could correct her mistakes, and have a second chance in life.
she also has a curse on her. anyone who has one of the jewels that hazel's finds from the ground, bad things will happen to the person who picks it (except hazel). her father Pluto said that a Son of Neptune would wash away her curse.
