Why did the Apollo 15 crew name a lunar crater Dandelion Wine?

They named it Dandelion Crater as an homage to the book Dandelion Wine, by Ray Bradbury. As you can imagine there are a LOT of craters on the moon, and the ones around the landing sites needed names both for navigation purposes as well as for describing their location to mission control back on earth. It's much easier to say, for example "I'm on the south rim of Dandelion" then it is to say "I think I'm about 300 feet north, northwest of the LM, near a moderate sized crater" To note, other craters at the Apollo 15 landing site include names like Elbow, Earthlight, Dune, Rhysling, Fan, Kimbal, Luke, Index, Quark, Ring, etc. They're just arbitrary names for identification purposes.

What is kimbal?

Kimball Tags were small cardboard tags found primarily on clothing, which were both printed with human readable information and also marked by a special pattern of holes for computer processing. Traditionally these tags would be collected at the point-of-sale and then sent off in batches to be processed at the end of the business day. Obviously this system had some distinct limitations. The batch processing of tags made real-time business analysis difficult, and required specific handling and processing facilities to be maintained. The nature of the hanging cardboard tag made it unsuitable for using in damp environments and didn't fit well on sealed packages, so its adoption really was limited to the clothing industry. Regardless of these limitations, while Google may be saluting the all-conquering barcode we should take a moment to remember the Kimball Tag, the Betamax of the retail industry.

What is in the bag at the end of the movie the Fugitive?

Apparently Quentin Tarantino himself doesn't know; originally it was supposed to be diamonds, but he soon realized that was too mundane. Eventually he just decided to leave it unknown, so each viewer could imagine it for themselves. Some fans have speculated that it is Marcellus Wallace's soul, which he had sold to the devil, and which Sam Jackson and John Travolta had managed to buy back from Lucifer for him. This is just a theory, but it is a pretty cool one.>>This is mostly correct, the soul theory is that Marsellus sold his soul to the devil and became rich enough to buy it back, it was Brett and his companions that reneged on the deal of the return of the soul. Vincent and Jules are brought in to collect the briefcase from Brett and his friends. It seems that the briefcase might be a reference to a 1955 noir movie called Kiss Me Deadly, which featured a trunk filled with radioactive material. Just like in Pulp Fiction, the contents of the trunk glowed mysteriously. However, Quentin Tarantino claims that the correlation is just a coincidence.
