Jack is more famous. He reached media in a metropolitan area making him the first known serial killer. His fame reached all over the globe. Not having been caught, his fame was carried throught generations. Today people still follow the media, books and websites to hear or read new ripper news.
BTK and the zodiac killed more people than the ripper did. The zodiac killer as a serial killer was better or worse than Jack the ripper even in the times when technology makes it easier to trap a killer.
Although both of these killers had a different MO (modus operandi) they loved to taunt the police and derived much pleasure thinking they were smarter than the authorities.
There are several who would be worthy of the title. Those few include BTK, the Green River Killer, and Jeffrey Dahmer. The most notorious however, would most likely be Jack the Ripper, mainly because he was never caught. If we go by numbers of victims Christman Gniperdoliga killed 964 men between the years 1568-1581 after robbing them in the Roman empire area
Serial killers come from different backgrounds, attain different levels of education, and hold various types of jobs. However, many serial killers do have at least one thing in common: the desire to communicate regarding their crimes. Through a careful examination of messages from such killers as the D.C. Snipers, the BTK Killer, the Zodiac Killer, Jack the Ripper, the Black Dahlia Avenger and others, Gibson reveals in his book "Clues for serial killers" aspects of their communications that give us a window into the psyches of these criminals.

The person known to authorities as BTK is serial killer Dennis Rader of Park City, Kansas. Rader is the self-proclaimed "BTK killer" (BTK is a self-imposed moniker standing for "Bind, Torture, and Kill"). He confessed in 2005 to the serial killing of 10 people in the Wichita, Kansas area from 1974 to 1991. For lots more info click the wikipedia link below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Rader
If Btk is missing or defective, the B cells cannot mature and cannot produce immunoglobulins
His name, BTK, was taken from a quote from a letter he wrote to a newspaper in which he wrote "BIND them, TORTURE them, KILL them, B .T.K."
The BTK, stands for BIND,TORTURE,KILL. The police named him that. He killed because he was sick in the head.
