Most statistics worldwide show, however, that there's more or less the same amount of bisexual men and women.
Recently many people (and researchers) believe that only women can be bisexual, that there are much more bisexual women than men, or even that all women are potentially bisexual.
But my guess is that this has a lot to do with the current double standard ("lesbians=acceptable, sexy, cool..." "gays=disgusting") which is distorting sexual behaviour, and has nothing to do with true orientation.
