Nia Vardalos is a daughter of Greek Canadian Constantine "Gus" Vardalos, a land developer. Her mom Doreen, was a bookkepper and a homemaker. She was born on September 24 1962. She attended Shaftesbury High School and Ryerson University. She married actor Iam Gomez and they recently adopted a daughter. Her most recent movie,'' My life in ruins'', was a comedy worth seeing. Another comedy she is known for is "My big fat greek wedding". She is also known for some 80'S movies as well. Her religion is greek ortodox.
