The funny thing is that religion is one's belief system. Whether you believe in God, Allah, Vishnu, or nothing at all, you have a belief system which in turn constituates your religion.

Webster's dictionary defined religion as a worldview based on a creator, or all powerful entity which you worship. The definition has been redefined by dictionary.com to encompass anybelief system on how the universe was created or came into being.

In the case of Stephen Hawking or Richard Dawkins, they do not believe in God at all. But their belief on the formation of the universe through their own perscribed ideals constituates their own modern day religion. Science has become the academic society's religion in a sense. This now places us in a world in which everyone is religious in their own way.

Atheists are people who do not believe in religion. So atheists are not religious
