The final printing of US $1000 bills had a portrait of President Grover Cleveland. Printing was discontinued in 1945 and distribution of all bills larger than $100 ended in 1969.

Large-denomination bills are technically still legal tender but they're all worth more than face value so it wouldn't make much sense to spend one.
