People who answer questions here - ordinary members of the general public who voluntarily answer questions asked - may have certain categories they 'watch' and supply answers to.... categories they know a lot about, or have a special interest in. Some of them might have some standardised answers, others just type fast, and sometimes a question is asked which is very similar to an existing question. If the person answering knows that this earlier question exists, they can merge the new question into it, and the previous answer appears automatically.
