Steve Biko is famous because of his political activities such as the rising of black consciousness. and was banned. He was also moving towards getting out of South Africa and telling the newspapers in London about it. but was put in detention and was killed but Donald Woods newspaper editor and Biko's friend) managed to complete this mission and help other people know how bad South Africans were being treated
