Goddess of Agriculture

The Greek name of the goddess of grain and agriculture is Demeter.

The roman name is Ceres.

She controls the harvest. she is able to make trees and plants grow or die. Her symbols are the torch and a sheaf of wheat or barley. Her parents are Cronos and Rhea. Disguised as an old woman, Demeter roamed the earth rewarding some cities with good harvests and punishing others with poor harvests. Demeter created the four seasons.
