Leave it in OD all the time. The computer will figure it out for you.
This website is one that I use all the time. It has lots of recipes that is designed for diabetics and very low sugar. The link is bbq.about.com/od/barbecuesaucerecipes/r/ble90602.htm
Overdrive is basically the cruising gear. In a car with an automatic transmission, you can drive in OD all the time. You should be driving in OD anytime you are traveling over 40-45 MPH. (This is the speed at which your car will automatically) shift into OD if you have it placed in that gear to start with. OD saves strain on the transmission and I would speculate the drive train, also. Your car will coast more easily in OD and use less fuel. The only time I consider not using OD is when I am in town at speeds under 40 MPH.

That depends on the length of time you wait between the first and second readings. If you take them within a few minutes, the OD reading should be similar. After a while, the color fades because of the instability of the product formed in the reaction.
OD has 2 meanings you can OD(over dose) or the slang way OD(over doing it) OD also stands for "Organizational Deevelopment"
Died a long time ago from a drug od
i had the same problem, mines a 89 too. that being said, mine has the switch on the Console,Not the shifter, and i discovered i had to run a power supply to the middle pole, then switch works fine. i did this by running a Good wire from fusebox to switch, from Power lead that Only comes on when car is running. otherwise,it will stay on all the time n kill your battery. anyone know what that button on the Side of the shifter knob is actually for?
