Sprent Jared Dabwido was the President of Nauru at the start of 2013. He was replaced on June 11 by Baron Divavesi Waqa.
Dabwido became the President on 2011 November 15. After President Marcus Stephen was forced to resign due to corruption allegations on 2011 November 10, Freddie Pitcher of the same faction was appointed President. Dabwido decided to join the opposition and raised a non-confidence motion against Pitcher. The motion passed, and Dabwido was shortly elected president by parliament, 9-8.

Dabwido did not stand for re-election and Baron Waqa was elected as president over Roland Kun 13-5 in 2013.
