In Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer, it is Edward Cullen. I can't stop thinking about him. In Vampire Kisses, by Ellen Schrieber, it is Alexander Sterling.

For me, it has to be Damon Salvatore followed by Eric Northman.

Jasper or Dracula. But Dracula looks a little like Carlisle come to think of it.

I would say that out of all vampire literature, it would have to be Dracula, as in many stories he is the original and most powerful vampire.
