Scooby-Doo use to be made by Hanna-Barbara Studios, now it is made by Warner Brothers. It was not created by only one person. There were many people involved to make this Hanna-Barbara cartoon. Going back to 1969 when the franchise started, Iwao Takamoto did the character design for all of the characters. Joe Ruby and Ken Spears were the writers of the show. The character was originally voiced by Don Messick. As the franchise continued, different animators, writers, and voice actors became involved.
