God in heaven is a spiritual Being and He is the God of Christianity. The Christian God is in three Persons. God the Father, God the Son, who is Jesus Christ and it was He who came down from the Father in heaven to die as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. This He did on the cross at Calvary, then He was buried, and on the third day God the Father raised Him from the dead signifying that He, God the Father, approved completely that Jesus Christ is the Savior who for thousands of years is the Messiah that was promised and that His sacrifice was worthy. The third Person of the Holy Trinity is God the Holy Spirit. All three are one God and the highest Being for Christianity.
