Hello there, I own two of these shotguns myself,,,,, the best $35 I have spent in my life!!! In researching after I bought them, I found they were produced by Kawagutchiyama Firearms Company. (sorry Im not a speller!) So I understand they made a very high end product for numerous decades. With their brand KFC, and for other brands, Browning being one of them. Not much literature is available, again the word is that when the company went under/ or was bought out about twenty years ago all the records dissapeared. Browning and a few others didnt want everyone to know that they were not making their own guns! I have had to piece togather posts like this to get the history Ive got. All i know for sure is I hunt with several other Browning shooters, and there $1000 guns look nearly identical, and no better than my two for thirty-five dollar Garage sale finds.

If I am understanding your question correctly, you are looking for the receiver number & this number can be found on the back panel of your receiver. The receiver number will begin with R000000000 & is generally located in the bottom left or right corner of the back of the receiver.
The receiver dryer is the can looking thing next to the evaporator.
By looking at the barrel and receiver.
Average is around $350. If you are looking for a stripped lower receiver, the price should hang around $100.
