If it is catholic, it is the pope who lives in Vatican City, Rome who is the most important person.
If it is Church of England, it is the current monarch who is the most important person.
The other aspects of Christianity I don't know.
Christians believe that God or the Holy Spirit/Ghost is with us in church anyway, so they would be the most important person.
