If you are a authorized user on a credit card and the primary holder is not paying the bill can the authorized user be held responsible?

No. Authorized Users are NOT liable for the debt, only the PRIMARY on the account is liable.

Is a person who is only listed as an authorized user on a credit card but never used it liable for the debt if the primary holder files bankruptcy?

No. An authorized user is not responsible for credit card debt in any situation. Sorry, I failed to mention that the exception is if the "AU" is a spouse and the couple reside in a community property state. What if the authorized user charged on the card? Would he be held responsible for that?

Can a spouse use your credit card if their name is not on it?

In most cases, no. Per credit card company rules, the person who signed the back of the card is the only person allowed to use it, and if the signature on the back of the card doesn't match the signature on the charge draft, then an ID check is triggered and the retailer has to verify that the person presenting the card is the person named on the card. It has to be that person, not their husband/wife/etc. If the husband/wife is an authorized user on the wife/husband's account, the credit card issuer would issue an additional card for that authorized user.

Can your husband use your credit card?

Not unless he is on the account and it is part of the agreement with the bank, and even in that case, the bank would issue an additional card for him and any other authorized users.

Does a rental property owner have to accept a subpoena for a person claiming the property as residence but who was never a tenant?

The answer is no. Subpoenas are served to a person or entity, and only to that person or entity or an authorized person. For a subpoena to a person it has to be served only to that person or to someone living with that person at the residence. In the case of an entity it has to be served to someone who is authorized to accept a subpoena on behalf of the entity.

Can a party serve a subpoena on the opposing party's lawyer?

Only the court, or an authorized court official, has the pwoer to issue and/or serve subpoenas. As a party to a case you can request that a subpoena be issued, but if it is in reference to the case at issue, it is HIGHLY unlikely the court will do so.
