In Jainism there is no prophet. Instead Jains follow the teaching and path shown by 24 Tirthankars (Jain Gods). Jains regard Lord Rishabnath as their first Tirhankar and Lord Mahavira as the last.
Jain followers are classified in four groups.

2. Sadhvi(Nuns)
3. Shravak (Male devotee)
4. Shravika(Fem
ale devotee)
In general Saadhu(s) and Sadhvi(s) are thereligiousleaders, but notnecessarily. If somebody studied and understood the Aagam (jainliterature's)thoroughly, and capable of explaining it to layman , he would be understood as the leader of Jainism.
