As with many things, tornadoes do not have a single person to whom their discovery might be attributed. The earliest documented tornado ocurred near Kilbeggan, Ireland in 1054, but it is not known who exactly witnessed or recorded the event. Other people before then have no doubt witnessed tornadoes, even if no records of those events exist.
