There is a sort of ritual life-support in the investiture ritual for the Prince of Wales which is something like a religious ceremony- it is called investiture , maybe a vest or vestments is part of ritual apparel- on the other hand I have heard the phrase- Vest-Pocket dictator- applued to Castro- different etymology) As for Charles- the ritual was conducted entirely in the Welsh tongue and the Prince completed a crash course in that language- there are universities in Wales- of course they have language departments- flying the flag- so to speak.
