King Nitro was a trade name used by the W.H. Davenport Firearms Company, of Norwich, Conn., on shotguns made for the Shapleigh Hardware Store of St. Louis, MO. The Standard Catalog of Firearms has this to say about Stevens SxS shotguns: The firm of J. Stevens produced a number of utility-grade, side-x-side double-barrel shotguns between 1877 and 1988. Not going to copy the whole text. You can read it when you look up your particular model. Stevens guns were always good servicable firearms but nothing fancy. Most are still useable, although any used firearm should be checked by an experienced gunsmith before firing. The earlier models will probably have short chambers and perhaps laminated barrels, and of course, are more likely to be worn.
side x side x side, or side cubed
There r 3 formulas for cube. Volume- (side X side X side) Curved surface area- 4(side X side) Total surface area- 6(side X side)
Volume_cube = side x side x side = 5cm x 5cm x 5cm = 125 cm3
Browning shotguns have a letter prefix of the letters H,L,G,M,in 12 gauge.If you have a 16ga auto-5 shotgun then the prefix letters will be X,R,S.All Browning shotguns auto-5 shotguns made in 1940 were serial number 218809-224596.No auto-5 shotguns were made for export due to the German forces taking over the plant in liege Belguim from 1941-1945.Export began again in 1946 after the War with serial number 228729-240950.
Volume of a cube is side x side x side. For example a cube with side as 2 cm will have 8 centimeter cube volume.
Because it is "solved for x", x will be by itself on one side of the equation. On the other side will be what x equals.
