The value of a .32 caliber RF (rimfire) Red Jacket 4 pistol can vary significantly based on its condition, rarity, and market demand. Generally, such vintage firearms can range from a few hundred to over a thousand dollars. For an accurate appraisal, it's best to consult a firearms expert or check recent sales data from reputable auction sites.
I have a similar pistol serial no. 2052. I came across a web page in my research that said that red jacket pistols ( no.3 & no. 4 ) were made by the Lee Arms Co. ( as in Lee Enfield - the British service rifle ) between 1877 and 1880 in a factory somewhere in New York / Mass. Unfortunately I cannot remember the title of the web page or any more details but if you do find any more info i'd be very interested to hear. good luck Richardac
