They made the 6.9L IDI, 7.3L IDI, 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel, 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel, and 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel. There are 444 cubic inches in a 7.3 liter powerstroke diesel. The measurement is 1 liter = 61 ci. Which makes a 7.3 = 445, but I am assuming that a 7.3 is a round off of 7.278 liters, since 7.3 is easier to say.

In 1992 the only diesel engine ford offered in it's F250/350 trucks was the 7.3 IDI naturally aspirated diesel. It wasn't a powerstroke engine. Powerstroke engines were introduced in 1994 and were direct injection diesel engines. A 1992 7.3 IDI did not have a turbo.
