Memorial Day honors the US men and women who died while in the military, serving their country. They are not the same. They are two separate holidays with different focus. Memorial Day is the last Monday of May and is to remember those that died in the service of the US Military. Veterans Day is the 11th of November and is to show appreciation to those that served their country, living or dead.
On Memorial Day many Americans gather together with friends and family to swim or barbecue. Some remember those soldiers who have passed away by visiting grave sites and the American flag is flown at half mast all day. People attend parades and Memorial Day fairs or go on a vacation to a nearby destination. Also, amusements parks are always full during the holiday weekend.
During every memorial days is the unforgettable day of every past away love once whom having and possessing the intellectual and initiative idea that makes us to be encourages to be strong of what we remember and of what we've learn from them during every memorial days that we should have to show respects and courage to be like them soon....
