It was a group of college students from Munich, Germany who started printing leaflets in opposition to Hitler's Nazi regime and its oppression in 1942-43. They hoped the German people would begin to question their government and begin fighting against it, especially after news came of the Soviet victory at Stalingrad in early 1943.
However, a rebellion never materialized and the group was arrested, interrogated, tried (in the unfair political courts), and either imprisoned or executed.
The White Rose (German: die Weiße Rose) was a non-violent/intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany, consisting of students from the University of Munich and their philosophy professor. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, lasting from June 1942 until February 1943, that called for active opposition to dictator Adolf Hitler's regime.
The six core members of the group were arrested by the Gestapo (German secret police) and they were executed by decapitation in 1943. The text of their sixth leaflet was smuggled by Helmuth James Graf von Moltke out of Germany through Scandinavia to the United Kingdom, and in July 1943 copies of it were dropped over Germany by Allied planes, retitled "The Manifesto of the Students of Munich."
Today, the members of the White Rose are honored in Germany amongst its greatest heroes, since they opposed the Third Reich in the face of certain death.

The only one I know of is the "The White Rose". It was a group led by a professor and university students ( the Scholl siblings and others) at the Ludwig Maxamillian Üniversität in Munich. They printed flyers against the regime and distributed them to in the main building while students were in their lectures. They got caught by a janitor and the professor and the 5 main students in the White Rose were executed. I am sure there are more groups but the White Rose is very well known.

The Imperial Japan has been around for thousands of years. Hilter and the Nazis started in 1919/1920 and fell in 1945. Hitler's power rose as Germany's economy fell after the Treaty of the Versaiiles. He legally took power and threw out the government's constitution to become dicator of Germany and ruler of the Nazis.
