From 1978 - 1986, the company was in receivership, administered by two Swiss brothers named Mimran. Prior to that, it came under control of Georges-Henri Rosetti, who'd initially purchased 51% of the company in 1972, and the remaining 49% in 1974. From the company's inception in the early 1960s up to 1972, the company was wholly and privately owned by Ferrucio Lamborghini.
