∙ 12y agoYou must free the man from his webbing after you kill the Giant Frostbite Spider. There will be some dialogue and you can either kill him or allow him to run ahead and be killed by one of the undead creatures ahead. Then loot the golden claw from him and proceed.

∙ 6y agoYou need the Golden claw found on Arvel the Swift earlier in the dungeon. If you look at the claw, you can see it has three symbols on its palm. Match the rings on the door to those symbols by activating each ring until they show the right symbol. Then activate the center of the door and it will open.
Arvel was trapped in spider web in the room with the wounded frost venom spider. After you cut him down, he would have run deeper into the cave until meeting up with some Draugr.
