Jewish-hating German citizens were given permission, almost ORDERED by one of hitlers high men to carry out brutal attacks on Jewish shops, place of worship, and even citizens. The event took place from 9-10th November 1933 and marked the unofficial beginning of the holoucaust, although this is debated within some historians. IThis event had a big impact on the beggining of the persecutuion of the jews, as previously before the events of THe night of broken glass took place, most of the violence towards the jews was just threats and torment, but now it had became physical violence and a lot worse.
