Classical music (as we know it today) has existed since the 9th century and into the present day. The term "classical music" wasn't applied formally until the 19th century.
It has been played and recorded to this day. I welcome you to check out my classical music presentation posted in the related links box below.
For the following reasons: * It was the music of the time when ballet was first being danced. Classical music was the "popular" and "cool" music of the time. * It's beautiful songs really connect with ballet. * Even after classical music was not the popular music of the day, everyone thought of ballet with classsical music. * Older ballets were already written to classical music, it wouldn't make sense to rewrite the music for those historic and beautiful ballets.
Sandra Day O'Connor has expressed a fondness for classical music, particularly enjoying composers like Bach and Beethoven. She appreciates the depth and complexity of classical compositions, which reflect her thoughtful and analytical nature. Additionally, she has mentioned enjoying a variety of music genres, but classical remains her primary preference.

Of themselves, countries national anthems are not really classical music. However some have been incorporated into classical musical works. For instance Tchaikovsky's 1812 work incorporates the Russian and French national anthems (of the day).
yes music of any type has been proven to help you learn at any time of the day
Pop Music is modern day music that a large amount of the population enjoys listening to. It is written quite recently and has almost no rules as to how it can sound. Classical Music can actually encompass three large periods of music (Baroque, Classical, and Romantic). It was written in the 1600's to the 1800's (Baroque was the earliest, then Classical, then Romantic). The rules were much more strict than they are now, especially in Baroque and Classical music. Essentially, pop music is popular and modern. Classical music can possibly be considered the "pop" music of centuries ago.
yes. music is played on diwali. it is a day to enjoy

Music is another way to express emotions. It can tell a mystery. Appreciate it and be thankful that its in your life. It has more meaning than words and pictures.
You know I am not into Classical Music, but boring, not really. I like to listen to the different instruments and pick out individual parts. Some of those lines can be used to make a wicked solo on a different instrument Classical Music calms & refreshes the instrument. I don't know much about Indian Classical Music but as I love listening soft, sad & instumental music I never felt bored. Whereas the other music has words, feelings & most important dance in it, so people prefer to listen then & entertaining. So, never say Classical Music is boring. It depends on the individual taste.
