Nobody plays Galbatorix in the books. It is a book. The character in the books is the main protagonist; the evil king that had taken the throne by force at the fall of the Riders.

The evil king in Eragon is named King Galbatorix. He is the main antagonist in the book series and rules the land of Alagaësia with cruelty and fear.
The main ones are the Ra-zac, the Shade Durza, and Galbatorix.
Galbatorix
Galbatorix is a human, but he is also a rider. Riders tend to take on some elvish characteristics.
In the book Eragon, the conflict was resolved through a final battle between Eragon and Galbatorix, the main antagonist. Eragon was ultimately able to defeat Galbatorix by using cunning strategy and exploiting a vulnerability. After Galbatorix's defeat, peace was restored to the land and Eragon played a key role in rebuilding and establishing a new order.
To avoid spoilers, I won't reveal the outcome. However, the fourth book in the series, "Inheritance," centers around Eragon's journey to defeat Galbatorix, the evil king. The book explores Eragon's growth and struggles as he faces off against the powerful ruler.
Book one in the Inheritance Series is called Eragon. The only known riders in Eragon are Galbatorix and Eragon himself, though at the end of Brom's life Eragon learns that he too was once a rider.
In the "Inheritance Cycle" series, Eragon eventually defeats Galbatorix by exploiting a flaw in the ancient language that controls magic. Eragon's determination, bravery, and allies play crucial roles in his victory over Galbatorix.
Galbatorix died being killed by Eragon in the 4th book, the Inheritance. He was stoke with a heart attack from Eragon's sword, and last he destroyed himself, attempting to take one of the team's member away with him, but this attempt failed since Eragon cast a spell before Galbatorix exploded himself out.
