FDR's first new deal was mildly successful and managed to get the United states out of the Great Depression. Though as soon as funding was cut in order to stop the deficiet spending unemployment rose and put us back into another recession which would only be corrected by WWII

Yes it did. But years later Roosevelt tried to stop spending so much money from the government so he cut some programs back. But the economy crashed again almost just as bad as it did in 1929.
