That was Peter. It happened somewhere in Acts.
Cornelius had a vision in which an angel of God tells him his prayers have been heard. The angel tells Cornelius to send his men from Joppa to find Simon Peter. Simon Peter also has a vision, he sees four-footed animals and birds being lowered by a sheet, from heaven. A voice is telling him to eat the animals. Simon objects saying the animals are not clean, but, is told not to question God. When the two meet, Simon understands the vision and permits the conversion of the Gentiles and allows them to be baptized.
St. Peter saw a sheet containing various kinds of animals lowered from heaven during a vision in Acts 10, which represented God's message that all people, regardless of their differences, are to be accepted and welcomed into the Christian community.
