Paul is the author of Galatians and so Paul is referring to Jesus as redeeming us from the curse of the law. Redemption is of course only something which God can do:

13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Who fills the covenant god made with humanity?

Jesus Christ fulfills the covenant that God made with humanity. Acts 3:25 says "Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed." The seed of Abraham is Jesus. Galatians 3:17 says that the covenant was confirmed before God in Christ. Hebrews Chapter 8 says a lot about God's covenant. Hebrews 12:24 says that Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant. Hebrews 13:20 mentions the covenant.

Who is Jesus to God?

Jesus is God. False actually. The new testament states that Jesus is the son of God and that God uses Jesus as his apprentice in a form of sense. ANSWER: Jesus is God! Christians believe in one God. God the Father, God the Son , and God the Holy Spirit. (John 5:18, equal with God; Philippians 2:6, being in the form of God; Philippians 2:6, equal with God; John 14 8-11, Do you not believe that i am in the Father, and the father in Me?; John 20 28, And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"; Titus 2:13, "Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Is Jesus referred to as He or he?

Jesus is referred to as He. The reason for this is to indicate the deity of Jesus. Christian scripture (New Testament) teach that Jesus is God who came in a human body (John 1:1, 14; 1Tim 3:16; Tit 2:13; Heb 1:8,10-12; 1Jn 5:20; John 14:8-9). Jewish Scripture (Old Testament) had indicated the revelation of God in human form (Isa 9:6, Dan 7:13-14). Early historical and non-biblical writings also indicated Jesus as God. For example:1) Lucian, a 2nd Century Greek satirist, mentioned Christians worshipping Jesus;2) Pliny the Younger, Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor around 112AD, wrote to the Emperor Trajan (98-117AD) that Christians are singing hymns to Jesus as to a god;3) Many non-canonical writings of early Christians mention Jesus as God.• St. Ignatius of Antioch, disciple of apostle John, writing to different churches (Around 110AD) noting Jesus is God (To Ephesians - Jesus Christ our God (0:0, 18:2) and God appeared in the likeness of man (19:3); To Roman - Jesus Christ our God (0:0, 3:3); To Smyrnaeans - Jesus Christ the God (1:1) and blood of Christ who is God (6:1)• Polycarp, the disciple of apostle John, writing to the Philippians (110AD) Jesus as "our Lord and God Jesus Christ (12:2)• Tatian the Syrian, addressed to the Greeks (AD 165-175) that God was born in the form of a man• St. Melito of Sardes (177 AD) wrote about Jesus who is God and perfect man.• St. Irenaeus of Lyons, Against Heresies 3, 19, 1 (180 AD) wrote "He is Himself in His own right God and Eternal King and Only-begotten and Incarnate Word"

Are the Jews the true Israelites?

One Thought:The literal 'Israelites' were descendants of Jacob, (Abraham's grandson through Isaac), who's name was changed to 'Israel' (Genesis 32:27-28). Jacob had twelve sons, who became the 'nation of Israel'(Exodus 1:1-7) and God's 'chosen people'. The term 'Jew' is believed to have come from a reference to one of the twelve tribes, Judah, but eventually came to refer to ALL the Israelites, eventually making the term Jew and Israelite synonymous.Later, after the death of Jesus (which, according to the Christian Greek Scriptures, ended the Law of Moses and the covenant relationship with fleshly Israel Galatians 3:13 / Colossians 2:13+14), it was made clear that 'Israelite/Jew' meant something new in God's sight. No longer did being one of God's chosen people depend on one's fleshly lineage, but on one's faith in Jesus sacrifice as the foretold Messiah. These, now, are termed 'spiritual Jews', God's 'chosen and special possession'(1 Peter 2:7-10)(Romans 2:28+29)(Galatians 3:28 )(Romans 3:29)(Acts 13:44-52)(Acts 4:12) and the 'Israel of God'(Galatians 6:12-16).

Why do Catholics use images of Jesus when according to the Ten Commandments you should not have any other god than God?

Jesus never claimed to be the 'Son of God' (a title bestowed on him by others) preferring the title 'Son of Man' to emphasise his humanity. He also claimed MUCH more than that. He claimed to be God himself incarnate in a human body. This 'God the Son' is very different than simply 'Son of God'. Thus, in Christianity, Jesus is believed to be both totally human and totally divine. As such, if we want to see what God is like, we should look at Jesus - all loving, all powerful. To the Christian, Jesus is part of the Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - three persons and yet one God. Think of humans (made in God's image) also being somewhat Trinitarian - they have a body (like Jesus) a mind (like the Father) and a spirit (like the Holy Spirit) - three different personas but still one person. As for the 'graven image' point, this referred to the ancient Jews who were prone to worship other 'gods' given a chance ( as some of them did during the exile and on their return, and during the reign of evil kings like Ahab). Therefore the worship of 'graven images' was outlawed. Note that this commandment comes directly after the commandment: 'worship no other gods but me'. That was done for a reason! As for depicting Jesus as an image, there is nothing wrong with this as by worshiping jesus we are also worshiping God, just as he asked us. Catholics believe in one divine God, but that God is also Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. Catholics believe that Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit are all one in the same as God (Trinity). They also use images of Mary, Angles, Saints, and others for worship, but worship only one Divine God. Displaying images of Jesus is not limited to the Catholics. Other Christian denominations also do it. You can see this almost anywhere; in Publications, calendar, stickers and even in highway billboards, etc. Because the Ten Commandments are only for the Hebrews (study the first Commandment carefully). "I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." God did not give these [Ten] Commandments to any other tribes. Even Paul taught (the Gentiles) that we are not under the "Law". see; Luke 16 16 . Romans 6 14, Romans 7 4, 6, Romans 10 4 , 2 Corinthians 3 14, Galatians 3 13 , Galatians 3 24-25, Galatians 5 18 Ephesians 2 15 Colossians 2 14 Jesus is God. Furthermore the reason why Catholics use images or statues of anything is for the same reason why you have pictures of family members or posters. It is because you love and respect them and they remind you of something valuable but what it doesn't mean is that you worship them or consider them God. Anyone who does worship an image or idol is guilty however and a hypocrite of their faith if it is Catholic.

What marks us as christians?

Several places in the New Testament it is written that God gives Christians His Holy Spirit: Ephesians 1:13 And you also became God's people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. You believed in Christ, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised. See also: 1Corinthians 3:16, 2Corinthians 1:22, 2Corinthians 5:5 Galatians 4:6

If you were baptized and backslid and came back do you need be re-baptized?

No. You could if you wanted to, but all you had to do is get right with the God in Christ Jesus. We all fall out of the grace of God, but thank God for Jesus and forgiveness of our sins. Now, just try your best to stay attached to God's word and be submitted to your pastor, for this pleases God. (Hebrews 13:17).
