Look in the yellow pages for Gunsmiths. Any qualified gunsmith can repair a Stevens firearm. There are several websites that offer complete schematics and parts. Order time is usually two to three weeks. Good luck.

Stevens guns were made at the plant in Chicopee Falls, Mass. Guns made from 1864 to 1886 will be marked J. STEVENS & CO. From 1886 to 1916 they were marked J. STEVENS A & T CO or J. STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO. No Stevens firearms were manufactured from 1916 until 1920 when Savage Arms purchased the facilities and name. From 1920 until 1942 (or '48) Savage marked guns J. STEVENS ARMS CO and after that simply STEVENS or STEVENS/SAVAGE. The Stevens name was discontinued in 1991.

The Stevens Marksman was manufactured by J Stevens Arms between 1911-1930. Most Stevens .22's were not serial numbered, so an exact age will be hard to determine. I recently purchased one in .22 lr. at a Gun Show and have been quite impressed with its accuracy even with a slightly pitted bore. Stevens rifles are a joy to own and shoot providing they remain in safe condition after years of abuse by their former owners (often a boys first rifle in the early 1900's).

J Stevens made 2 possibly more bolt action rifles that fired .22 round. The 416 and the 332 or 332s. The 416 had a detachable Magazine the 332 had a detachable Box Magazine. Which one is yours? What condition is the rifle in. Excellent, Good or poor?

Stevens boys rifles are collectable in excellent condition, but value drops off fast with wear and tear. Excellent to mint condition specimens are rare and can bring $400 or more, but typical condition well-used guns generally sell from $150-$200. We are serious buyers on collectable Stevens rifles. www.countrygunsmith.net

What type action? Tip-up, lever, falling block, rolling block, bolt action? It could be any of several boys rifles or target rifles. Exactly how is the company name written on the gun? The "J. Stevens and Co" version was discontinued 8 years before the 1894 patent date on yours.
