Look in the yellow pages for Gunsmiths. Any qualified gunsmith can repair a Stevens firearm. There are several websites that offer complete schematics and parts. Order time is usually two to three weeks. Good luck.
Dozens of calibers from .22 up through major hunting calibers.
The value of a 1905 J Stevens 22 single shot rifle is between $100 and $500 depending on the condition. These rifles were commonly used for small game hunting and target practice.

My information shows that only 3,500 of these rifles were made from 1935-1936.

88,000 from 1933 to 1937.
The Stevens Marksman was manufactured by J Stevens Arms between 1911-1930. Most Stevens .22's were not serial numbered, so an exact age will be hard to determine. I recently purchased one in .22 lr. at a Gun Show and have been quite impressed with its accuracy even with a slightly pitted bore. Stevens rifles are a joy to own and shoot providing they remain in safe condition after years of abuse by their former owners (often a boys first rifle in the early 1900's).
