The ship that rescued passengers in the lifeboats from the Titanic was the RMS Carpathia. It arrived at the scene several hours after the Titanic sank on April 15, 1912, and managed to save roughly 705 survivors. The Carpathia played a crucial role in providing aid and transporting the survivors to safety.
