Who said Uh Oh Chongo?

It was a repeated tag-line from a Saturday morning kids' show, an adventure series called Danger Island. One of the characters was a young mute native called Chongo (actor-stuntman Kim Kahana), who always seemed to be in the middle of trouble.

*Danger Island (3-hour serialized adventure movie, 1968-1970) was a live-action adventure serial produced by Hanna-Barbera and originally broadcast as a segment on the Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It was filmed in Mexico and directed by later-Superman director Richard Donner. It starred Jan-Michael Vincent (born 1944) as one of the protagonists, Lincoln "Link" Simmons. Other stars were Ronne Troup (daughter of actor Bobby Troup), Rockne Tarkington, and Frank Aletter.
