No. The Muslims don't believe that anybody can shoulder the sins of others. No one can be held responsible for the sins/crimes of anybody else. It is UNJUST to Kill a person for the sins of others. No gvernment permits this in this world. Why should God be so illogical and unjust. It does not sound logical, suitable, appropriate, lawful to absolve a peson of his sins only because some one died for his sake ceturies ago. The Muslims believe that God is Not so Unjust.

Jesus Christ is the only one that can forgive sins. Because Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, he was able to die in our place on the cross. We should have been the one to pay for our sins, but Jesus did it. He said it is finished.
