Me! Never mind just joking i'm funny!! hahahahahah.
Diet Coke has Aspartame in, sometimes sucralose and saccharin (all sugar substitutes-sweeteners). Coke may have a lot of sugar but it's a lot better then diet coke, or any diet drinks containing sweeteners.
Flavor or taste is largely a subjective thing. Another problem is.that there a number of different formulas for Diet Coke. Some are sweetened with asparatame, some with sucralose. By and large most people are not fond of the taste of diet softdrinks, but after drinking them regularly for a time become acclimated and acquire the taste for it.
Sucralose is a commonly used artificial sweetener found in a variety of foods and beverages, including diet sodas, sugar-free gum, and some processed foods. To identify sucralose in your diet, check the ingredient list on food labels for terms like "sucralose," "Splenda," or the E number E955. Be mindful of products labeled as "sugar-free" or "diet," as they may contain sucralose.
There is a list at http://www.mercola.com/2000/dec/3/sucralose_products.htm I don't think it is up to date, however. Pepsi One and Diet Rite are the only "major" brand of carbonated drink I know about that have sucralose. In 2005 Coke talked about getting something out but I have not seen any of their products without aspartame. Keep looking. I hope someone else can post a better answer soon, but maybe this helps in the interim. Coca-Cola has produced a soft drink with Sucralose. It is just called Diet Coke with Splenda(R). It is in my grocery store as of May 26, 2010, but it may be hard to find.
Diet Coke is darker.
Diet Coke contains no calories because it uses artificial sweeteners, such as aspartame or sucralose, instead of sugar. These sweeteners provide the sweet taste without the caloric content associated with regular sugar. Additionally, the formulation of Diet Coke is designed to be low in carbohydrates, further contributing to its calorie-free profile. As a result, it offers a sugar-free beverage option for those looking to reduce their calorie intake.
