If you have a basic Type 56 carbine, you're probably looking at $250 - $350. Even though importation of rifles and handguns from China has ceased, these can still be found pretty easily, and haven't seen a significant increase in value because of it. The detachable magazine SKS-D and SKS-M fetch a bit more - now you're looking in the $450 - $600 range. Since the Chinese SKS is not a C&R rifle, you're not losing value by having an aftermarket stock on it.
