While the airport has a lot of traffic, the Tower of London would be my first stop! Or maybe the House of Lazarus...
The tradition of gift giving comes from the legend that comes from the life of the Catholic martyr St. Valentine who was imprisoned by the Roman Emperor Claudius II. According to legend, while imprisoned, St. Valentine fell in love with his jailer's daughter. Before he was executed for failing to denounce his face, St. Valentine allegedly wrote a letter to her and signed it, "From your Valentine."

She climbed down Prince Perian's beard, after she awakened him. He had been put into a magical sleep by Lord Garp and imprisoned in the tower; since he had been there for quite a while, his hair and beard had grown monstrously long.
There are multiple attractions in London worth visiting. A couple of them would be the giant clock-tower Big Ben, and the great Ferris wheel London Eye.
The story of Saint Valentine and the blind girl is a legend where Valentine allegedly healed the blindness of a young girl he befriended while imprisoned. Before his execution, he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine," thus starting the tradition of sending Valentine's Day cards. The story illustrates the compassionate and kind-hearted nature of Saint Valentine.
Not what you think, while executions were held at the Tower of London, Mary Queen of Scots was executed in the now defunct Fotheringay ( sometimes spelled Fotheringhay) Castle in Scotland. There were, of course political executions in the Tower of London, but this was not one of them. I believe Anne Boleyn ( mother of Elizabeth I) was executed by Axe in the Tower ( actually a prison complex) . There was a rather morbid Cockney folk song about this. now we do not have a similar ballad about Jayne Mansfield, but that was an accident.
The Tower of London is a massive stone tower at the centre of William the Conqueror's London fortress (on the north bank of the River Thames) built in the early 1080s. Through the centuries that followed, successive monarchs added to the fortifications. The Tower has been used as a prison and is integral to English History. Today the Tower houses the British Crown Jewels.
Patrick was not imprisoned but was held against his will in Ireland and forced to be a sheperd for a Druid chieftan.
London offers many tourist attractions just in the city and nearby surrounding. I would recommend checking out Piccadily Square, Buckingham palace, Bell Tower and Tower of London. If you have extra time, definitely travel outside the city to the country side and enjoy the beautiful English landscape.
The Tower of London is still lived in now. All the Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters) live within the Tower. There is also a small army detachment based at the Tower and the soldiers live within the Tower while they are stationed there. The last prisoner in the Tower was Hitler's Deputy, Rudolf Hess.
