Originally, the song "Cry Me A River" was written by Arthur Hamilton in 1953 and in 1955 was made famous by a singer named Julie London. Since the song was first written its been done in jazz form for Ella Fitzgerald in a movie (and was later dropped). Barbra Streisand sang the song in 1963, Joe Cocker in 1970, and most recently by Justin Timberlake.
