The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds two General Conferences each year, one the first weekend in April, and the other the first weekend in October. Each conference has 5 two-hour sessions, as well as a 1 ½ hour women's session, so it is difficult to choose just one quote out of 23 total hours of General Conference each year! I think one of my favorite quotes from the October 2009 Conference is "I testify that one cannot... find the fullest measure of peace and comfort in these times until he or she embraces the divinity of the Book of Mormon and the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom it testifies." -- Elder Jeffery R. Holland, Sunday Afternoon Session One of my favorite quotes from the April 2009 Conference is "We need strong Christians who can make important things happen by their faith and who can defend the truth of Jesus Christ against moral relativism and militant atheism." --Elder D. Todd Christofferson, Saturday Morning Session If you'd like to read, listen to, or watch the 2009 General Conferences, you can do so by visiting the "Related Links" below.
