This group of speakers included public officials, lawyers, the clergy and civil rights activists. Both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson spoke on behalf of equal rights for all no matter what color of their skin.
Muhammad Ali was a great advocate for the civil rights movement. Ali spoke out against white domination. He was awarded the Otto Hahn peace medal for his contributions to the civil rights movement.
