Free the Children was started by Craig Kielburger when he was only a preteen. He had seen a newspaper article About a Boy named Iqbal Massih, an escaped child slave that had been murdered for standing up for his rights. Craig started Free the Children with other classmates and it has grown to where it is today. His brother, Mark Kielburger is also deeply involved with Free the Children.
