That definitely depends on the power of the motor in the drill.I just went and looked up electric drills on my favorite internet source of cheap tools.I found corded (plug-in) drills with motors rated at 4.5 Amps and 8.0 Amps, and abig one called the "Super Hole Hawg" with a 1/2-inch chuck and a 13-Amp motor.I could not find a cordless drill where its motor current was stated. I would expectthose to run on significantly lower current.
