After the wine has been tasted and accepted, the normal etiquette says that the first person served should be the one on the right of the person who tasted the wine, and then continue in a counterclockwise direction.
Yes Jesus did perform a miracle before he went and called his twelve disciples. He had changed the water into wine at the wedding feast in Canna.
